Final Day Away

 I was up at 7:30 and headed to the club. I got an 8-mile ride and weight lifting in before heading back for breakfast and play. Since the weather was better, there was much outdoor time. The kids were exhausted and took a long nap as we enjoyed football.   It was a ham and beans early dinner when they woke, followed by more play and packing.




Some will be sad as we prepare to close this trip and head home tomorrow. Leslie appreciated the time but started crying at the thought of us leaving. It will be nice to get home. However, this trip was less pleasing than the ones where I roamed at will and had no responsibility or expectations.
